Around 1246 am Mrs Zarina, President PFA(AU) & Dr Murali, Member Secretary, SPCA(SA) receives a phone calls regarding illegal trafficking of Bovines from Manarghat to Delanipur, that was to reach Sippighat, around 330am. The said Bovines were taken for slaughter.
Both intercepted the tempo loaded with Bovines at around 05 am at Sippighat barricading point. To their surprise, it consisted of 01 Bull and 02 grown up Cows.
Upon investigation on the spot, the guys involved revealed that they were taking the Bovines to hand over to one Mr Mohammed Ali, r/o Delanipur upon the direction of one Zafar r/o Manarghat.
The confiscated Bovines alongwith the guys involved has been handed over to the Police custody, Humfrigunj PS and a complaint has been lodged to file an FIR against the accused involved in Animal trafficking illegally.
After the Official formalities, the said innocent Bovines shall be send to the Animal shelter for their further care.
Slaughter of Cows are an illegal Offence morally, as we treat them as "Gau Matha" in our Country.
