Andaman and Nicobar ( Zarina Nikhat )
Port Blair; 11.11.2022
Upon information received from general public, as we rushed to the site near Kalapather, Sippighat, we were surprised to see a stray calf sitting near NH-4 Highway for the past 02 days without adequate fodder and water. The reason being an infected leg that occurred due to road accident. It was a pathetic scene. As the poor couldnt seek help of it's own, it was on road, drenching in rain day and night. Gods grace saved it, says Mrs Zarina, President of PFA(AU) & Member, District SPCA(SA).
Presently the ailing calf is undergoing treatment under the aegis of.SPCA(SA).
Our thanks are due to all those veterinary & PBMC staff for their kind cooperation, especially Dr Sujatha,SVO & SPCA doctor for promptly attending to the calf, says Dr P.M.Murali, Member Secretary, District SPCA(SA).
