अन्याय के खिलाफ उठाने वाली, असहाय लोगों की हिम्मत बन चुकीं समाज सेविका चर्चित महिला सबीना खान लगातार सुर्खियों में हैं। दहेज उत्पीड़न से लेकर बाल मजदूरी तक, जहां भी पीड़ित को न्याय नहीं मिलता, सबीना खान सबसे पहले आवाज उठाती हैं।

सबीना खान का मानना है कि समाज तभी मजबूत होगा जब हर व्यक्ति को बराबरी का हक मिलेगा। पिछले कई सालों से वह दहेज उत्पीड़न, रिश्वतखोरी, बाल मजदूरी, महिला अत्याचार और यौन उत्पीड़न जैसे मुद्दों पर लगातार काम कर रही हैं। पीड़ित महिलाएं जब पुलिस थाने या कोर्ट के चक्कर काटकर थक जाती हैं, तो सबीना खान कानूनी मदद दिलाने से लेकर प्रशासन तक उनकी बात पहुंचाती हैं।

सबीना खान सिर्फ जमीन पर काम नहीं करतीं, बल्कि कई सामाजिक संस्थाओं और न्यूज मीडिया प्लेटफॉर्म से भी जुड़ी हुई हैं।

स्थानीय लोगों का कहना है कि सबीना खान का 24 घंटे पीड़ितों की मदद के लिए प्रयत्नशील रहती है। वह कहती है कि न्याय मांगना कोई एहसान नहीं, हर नागरिक का हक है। जब तक एक भी बेटी दहेज के लिए सताई जाएगी या एक भी बच्चा स्कूल की जगह कारखाने में काम करेगा, मेरी लड़ाई जारी रहेगी। महिला सुरक्षा और सामाजिक न्याय के क्षेत्र में उनके काम को देखते हुए कई संस्थाओं ने उन्हें सम्मानित भी किया है।
