Woman safety is now being addressed upto a great extent by Rajasthan Police through Kalika Patrolling Units.Being Supervised by SI Indira Ahlawat, this brigade is approaching remarkable milestones in the remote areas of state. In 2024-25 GOR has kept the total provision of 500 Kalika squads to be deployed. Today 250 Kalika scooty units have been given green flag departure by MP and cabinet Minister JP Nadda in a program organised at RIC, Jhalana Doongri, Jaipur. As per Nodel Officer Ahlawat each Kalika scooty is having Helmet and wireless handset along with Blue and Red light.
Officially as addressed by police authorities, the unit has covered 1064 incidents out of which 28 have been registered on record. Around 6200+ students have been given overview about this unit. The Kalika patrolling officers also create awareness to download Rajcop Citizen App within public.
